Yes it’s Spring – Yippee!

I’ve had a number of conversations recently about the difference between fate, just letting things happen, and action, making things happen. How much should we work at life and how much do we just let happen? Do we just surrender – if you like, let go and let God.

We’ve all had those occasions when if something hadn’t happened or we hadn’t met the right person we wouldn’t be where we are today. But is that fate? It could be or was it already in your subconscious or consciousness what you wanted and these events occurred through that alignment of thought? MMMM heavy stuff!

I think for us to surrender completely to fate, is not to be in control of our lives and how we want to live it, who we want to be and what we want to create. Yes there are times in our lives where we do need to surrender, relax and let go. Those times when we’re tired, things aren’t coming together or we simply just don’t know. But again it’s still a choice, choosing to surrender. Here are 4 steps to creating what you want:

  1. Decide what you want;
  2. Create a plan and action it;
  3. Align your attitude and beliefs to attract what you want and
  4. Let go!

I think the most important of these is step 3. Check out any fears, attitudes or beliefs that don’t serve you, that may stop you from creating what you want and notice the mind talk! So back to the original question is life fate or do you make it happen? Perhaps you can do both, action and let go, and the art is in the balance of both.

Try this….

Every morning get up with the attitude of “I’m going to have a good day to day”. Plus listen to some relaxing music as you get ready for your day. Then you’re ready for whatever the day brings. Try it – it works to create a better day!

Keep smiling its Spring!
